That's Roland in photo1 and Charlie in photo 4, we have had them for 3 weeks and they have just about doubled in size. When we came home today they were so pleased to see us they were falling down the stairs to greet us, we had only been out for 3 hours!
This is the latest useless addition to our household, we found him in Portobello NZ near where we were staying.
I have been up and down stairs all day, they have 20minutes madness in the garden and then crash for an hour and then it starts all over again. Some Bromeliads have already been pulled up, I fear our garden will never be the same.
Charming little cottage with a beautiful garden, an orchard with apple and pear trees and a grape vine, all bearing fruit. Lovely place but with absolutely nowhere to hang our clothes!!! Akaroa is beautiful, we had a very good dinner last night sitting overlooking the harbour
I'm not sure if this position aids digestion but Sid likes to eat his dinner like this!
And it's made it! Lots of flashes and bangs and the precious rain. FANTASTIC!!!!

As requested by Jess, not a true indication of the colour, the iPad not so good for colour reproduction. I'm quite pleased with the look as it's nice and fresh.
Graeme has spent many mornings of his 2 week holiday working on this and has just completed it.It's great,so now when I go down to feed the birds there is a path to walk on FANTASTIC!! Well done Graeme!!
